INA BRESNER • DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS Bresner joined the company in April 2008 following EXFO’s acquisition of Brix Networks, where she served as vice president of manufacturing. Before joining Brix in May 2001, Bresner was business operations manager at Nortel Networks (formerly Bay Networks). In that role, she was responsible for all manufacturing-related integration activities associated with various acquisitions, as well as new product introductions and product lifecycle management. Previously, Bresner was director of manufacturing at New Oak Communications, and prior to that was a production manager for 3Com Corp. Earlier, she served in various manufacturing positions at several Boston-area companies. Bresner has an MBA from Simmons College in Boston, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Southern Connecticut State University. |

STEVE DESROCHERS • SENIOR DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT DesRochers joined the company in April 2008 following EXFO’s acquisition of Brix Networks, where he was vice president of engineering. DesRochers joined Brix in August 1999 from Newbridge Networks where he was in charge of that company's Massachusetts software development team, and co-developed the business plan to deliver next-generation IP products. Previously, DesRochers was a founder and the director of software at Acacia Networks, a startup company focused on providing Ethernet switching solutions, where he lead a group that designed more than 10 revenue-generating products in three years. Earlier, DesRochers headed the software, hardware, and mechanical engineering team at Cayman Systems, and he also worked seven years at Ungermann-Bass. DesRochers is co-holder of U.S. Patent No. 7,058,020 that covers a technique for hardware time-stamping data packets, which permits the precise measurement of various network characteristics, such as latency and jitter. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of New Hampshire. |

KAYNAM HEDAYAT • DIRECTOR OF PRODUCT MANAGEMENT & STRATEGY Hedayat joined the company in April 2008 following EXFO’s acquisition of Brix Networks, where he served as vice president of product management and CTO. Hedayat joined Brix in September 1999 from PictureTel Corporation where, as a consultant engineer, he led the development of various next-generation, IP-based products. Previously, he held engineering positions of increasing responsibility at Xerox Imaging Systems, Stonehand, Inc., and Digital Equipment Corporation. An 18-year industry veteran, Hedayat is an acknowledged expert in the areas of voice and video over IP. He is co-author of a new VoIP management protocol, RTP Control Protocol Extended Reports (RTCP-XR), which defines a set of standard metrics for assessing VoIP call quality and diagnosing problems. Additionally, Hedayat is co-author of the book, "Multimedia Systems, Standards, and Networks," is co-holder of U.S. Patent No. 7,058,020 that covers a technique for hardware time-stamping, has several additional patents pending, and is the lead author of several IETF drafts. Hedayat has a Master's of Engineering degree from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University. |

RICK RIGOLI • DIRECTOR OF FINANCE Rigoli joined the company in April 2008 following EXFO’s acquisition of Brix Networks, where he was vice president of finance and chief financial officer. Rigoli joined Brix in July 2006 from Sterling Commerce (an AT&T Company) where he served as vice president of finance and administration for the Yantra Applications business unit. Previously, Rigoli was vice president of finance for five years at Yantra Corporation where he played an instrumental role in the company's sale to AT&T in 2005. Earlier, Rigoli was corporate controller at PAREXEL International (Nasdaq: PRXL) where he assisted in that company's IPO and oversaw the organization's finance function during a period of 10-fold growth during his eight-year tenure. Previously, Rigoli was a manager in the emerging markets practice with the Boston office of Price Waterhouse (now PWC). He is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs. Rigoli earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross. |

DON WADAS • VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES Wadas joined the company in April 2008 following EXFO’s acquisition of Brix Networks, where he served as vice president of worldwide sales and services. Wadas joined Brix in April 2007 from Telcordia Technologies, where, as global vice president of sales, next-generation OSS, he was responsible for developing, implementing, and managing sales strategies for this $85 million business unit. Previously at Telcordia, Wadas served as vice president of sales for Asia-Pacific and India, and also VP of worldwide sales for fixed line carriers. He joined Telcordia as a result of that company’s acquisition of OSS vendor Granite Systems, where he was vice president of sales for the Americas. Prior to that, Wadas was vice president of North and South America sales at Aprisma Technologies, and before that was vice president of sales at Level 3. Earlier in his career, he held various account executive and sales management positions at several other technology companies. Wadas earned an M.B.A. from DePaul University, and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from the University of Toledo. |
